STRUT FOR STRAYS is a fun and memorable event for animal lovers!
Our 26th Annual Strut for Strays is a hybrid event this year, with a kickoff and in-person walk at McGrath Evanston Subaru or do your own walk at a time/place of your choosing!
Those who would like to Strut with other C.A.R.E.™ supporters and also celebrate Subaru Loves Pets month can join us at McGrath Evanston Subaru on the morning of October 2. We’ll walk 2.5 miles on the Skokie Northshore Sculpture Park.
For those who are remote or don’t want to gather, you can do your own virtual walk between October 2 – October 9. Pick up your swag at the October 2 event or on October 9 at the C.A.R.E. Adoption Center, or choose to have your swag shipped to you.
Don’t forget to register — you’ll receive a colorful T-shirt and goodie bag. The walk kicks off at 9:30 on Oct. 2 from https://www.facebook.com/McGrathEvanstonSubaru with a virtual option to walk when you choose.

The lady who brought me inside says I am affectionate, outgoing, and I like other cats. Not a bad resume! And, once I get to know you, belly rubs are not out of the question. Come meet me at Wilmette Pet Center – let’s see if we hit it off . . .”
“Hi – I’m Otto, a two-year old orange tabby male. Orange tabbies are pretty easy going and I’m no exception! I had a nice female roommate for a few days and we got along fine. I’m curious and just a little shy. You can pick me up and we can snuggle. I like playtime too. What do you say? My bags are packed and I’m ready to go home – with you!”
