Cat Adoption

Fabulous balls of fur!

Here are our current Adopt-A-Pet fosters:

Jelly Bean, Jujubes, Skittles, and Gumdrop

Meet the “gummy candy” litter!!!! This is Skittles: She loves attention! And have you noticed how adorable she is? She loves to talk (meow) to you! You had better answer her back or she won’t go away. She’s the smallest kitten from the litter and will love to hang out with her new adopted family!

This is Gumdrop. She’s an adorable kitten that will purr up a storm when you are holding her. She will keep you amused with all her cute antics. Go ahead and try not to smile….it will be impossible! You will love her more every day as you have your daily dose of smiles and sweetness!

This is Jujubes…the only boy in the family. If you are the only boy in your family, how about adding this adorable, playful, sweet, loyal, loving kitty and then you won’t be the only boy. Jujubes is a curious little guy who loves to inspect and play. He will need help from his new family to show him the “ropes” and to navigate his new surroundings. But, you will have so much fun teaching him!

This is JellyBean~sweet and sugary. She will love you to death! If you’re looking for a loyal loving, playful kitty, she’s your gal! You won’t be sorry picking Jelly Bean to join your family.

Behaviorally and socially, it’s best to adopt kittens in pairs, or into a home with a playful cat. Kittens really need a playmate in their forever home…and then they can get to play and snuggle while you’re not home. Check out Adopt-A-Pet’s Pick A Pair page to see if one of her siblings is still available.

If you are only interested in adopting a single kitten, and you’re home most of the day, and able to spend interactive time with a kitten, Adopt-A-Pet will consider adopting out a kitten older than 4 months. Each foster home knows the kitten’s personalities best, and they follow their recommendations for single placements.

Their estimated date of birth is 4/7/18, and the adoption fee of $150 each includes the vet exam, FVRCP vaccinations, FIV & Feline Leukemia testing (neg), routine deworming, microchip and neuter/spay.

Sundance & Cassidy

Sundance will bring a ray of sunshine into your house with his bright personality and playful nature. He is a vivid orange tabby who is outgoing and affectionate. Sundance is turning into a cuddly love bug. Sundance is doing well at his foster home, making friends with all their existing cats. Cassidy has vivid gold markings and a bright personality. An independent orange tabby, he will decide when he wants to be petted and snuggle. Cassidy is doing well at his foster home, making friends with all their existing cats. Sundance and his brother Cassidy are inseparable and play together, sleep together and eat together. They remind me of the song from the movie “Butch Cassidy and the Sundance Kid, “Raindrops Keep Fallin’ on my Head”. Very cute.

Connie

Meet sweet Connie! She was a VERY YOUNG mom who has raised her babies and is now ready to find her forever home! Connie was in a home and the family decided they didn’t want her and her babies anymore, so they were going to just put them outside! Adopt-A-Pet was lucky enough to have an available foster home to take care of Connie and her babies until they were old enough to be on their own. Connie is very quiet, sweet and petite (only 5 lbs)…she still looks like a kitten herself! She LOVES attention…a good head scratch or ear rub and you’ll be her new best friend! We think Connie would be fine with other cats, given the proper introductions, or as a solo cat in your home. She’s such a sweetheart and just look at those green eyes!

Connie’s estimated date of birth is 8-16-17. Her adoption fee of $150 includes her vet exam, FVRCP vaccinations, FIV & Feline Leukemia testing (neg), routine deworming, microchip and spay.

Michael, Jermaine, and Rebbie

Meet the Jacksons, a talented family of kittens with the musical ability to steal your heart.

Michael is an active and playful brown tabby with white paws. He is the ultimate showman & wants to be where the action is. He also loves wrestling and running around with his siblings. He enjoys exploring and will find his way to climb up onto baskets.

Jermaine is a sweet black kitten with a bit of white on his chest. He is a real snuggler and loves to sleep in your lap soon after you sit down. He really loves being shown affection and has a relaxed mood.

Rebbie is black kitten looking for a loving home with people and animals to cuddle, play, and interact with. She has a more laid back personality than her siblings.

We have everything you need to get started, and, when you adopt any cat you’ll get a coupon book filled with tons of savings.

Please understand that though you may want to take these adorable animals home with you when you see them, you will first have to go through the application process through Adopt-A-Pet. Applications can be found here; fill it out and send it to volunteers at Adopt-A-Pet. One of their adoption councilors will contact you.

We are one of the many foster homes for Adopt-A-Pet, and rarely know the adoption status of these cats. You can see all of the animals that Adopt-A-Pet has and contact them regarding the availability of a particular cat on their main site here.
